Shawn Wright-Browner Cohort

Shawn serves as Director -Washington Township Schools, Career-Technical, Community & Continuing Ed.- J. Everett Light Career Center, 2006-present. Prior to her current position, she served as Teacher, IPS Cold Spring School, 1988-89; Teacher, Lawrence North HS, 1989-1994; Asst. Principal, Lawrence Central HS, 1994-2005; Asst. Director, Washington Township Schools, J. Everett Light Career Center, 2005-2006. Shawn graduated from Ball State University (BS1988); Butler University (MS1994); Ball State University (Vocational Director’s Certification). Shawn resides in Indianapolis with her husband Kenneth Browner (Taylor University, BA1987), teacher and track coach, Carmel High School. Away from school, Shawn enjoys traveling, napping, reading and sitting on in her deck overlooking her wooded lot. covered patio watching TV and neighborhood activities.
