Amy Bertram Cohort

Amy L. Bertram is in her 23^rd year as an educator.  She is currently the principal of Fairfield Jr-Sr High School and has been serving in this role for six years.  She spent her first twelve years in Education teaching English and her next five years as an assistant principal.  Mrs. Bertram earner both her Bachelor degree in English Education and her Master degree in Educational Psychology at Ball State University.  She went on to complete a Principal Licensure program through Indiana Wesleyan University.  Mrs. Bertram believes 100% in having a growth mindset and failing forward.  She also believes stepping out of the comfort zone, taking a chance and accepting a challenge are all necessary to improve at anything.  Mrs. Bertram is a graduate of IPLI Cohort 2, and she credits this program with helping grow her leadership capacity.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling with her family and baking.
